A Todoist alternative for Windows, without the subscription
Price changes, a Pro tier for the basics, AI features you pay for whether you use them or not: that's why people go looking for something else. If what you need is projects, tags, repeating to-dos and deadlines on a Windows PC, you may not need much more.
Everfixed Tasks is a plain, fast to-do app for Windows that you buy once. It's in development; we're aiming for a beta before the end of 2026.
What you keep
- Projects with headings, areas to group them, tags, deadlines, repeating to-dos, checklists and notes.
- Quick Entry on a global hotkey: capture from any app straight into your Inbox.
- Today, Upcoming, Anytime and Someday, so a list of ninety to-dos doesn't stare at you every morning.
- Your Outlook or Windows calendar next to your to-dos, and reminders as Windows notifications.
- A small Android companion that sends links and text from your phone into the same Inbox.
What you leave behind
- The subscription. One purchase; sync through our server is included.
- Built-in AI. There's no assistant in the app. If you want one, a command-line tool with JSON output and ready-made skills let the agent you already use work with your to-dos.
- The account. Your data lives on your PC and works offline; no Google or Microsoft sign-in. Sync through our server or run your own.
